Summer Homework from Mrs. Webb:

This summer we are requiring the students in grades 4-8 to read 2 books from a list provided. They will write a summary and answer some questions about one book and write a letter to their teacher about the other. They must turn everything in by: Tuesday September 4, 2018.

Summer Reading from Mrs. Webb:

Summer is an important time for students to keep reading and improve their language skills. When kids stop reading, they actually lose some of what they learned over the school year. If a student reads 6 books over the summer they will likely avoid summer reading loss. Encourage your child to read books they enjoy at least 30 minutes a day. The Racine Public Library is a great place to find these books and the kids have three weeks to read them. They can even extend the date if they are still reading. It is easy to get a library card if you don't have one, just check out their website at: They offer great free children's programs throughout the summer.
